Plans & Procedures
SETTING UP YOUR STALL
If possible, set up your stall in the course of Friday, 13 May. Before you
start, pass by the secretariat where we will provide you material like markers,
scissors, paper, scotch, glue – and any other support you might need.
Here you will also be allocated your stall. Please do not leave valuable
items at your stall. After decorating your stall, please cover it
with the wrapping paper you have been provided with – the unwrapping
of the stalls will be part of the opening ceremony on Saturday afternoon.
ALLOCATION OF STALLS
As not all stands are equally well located, we have planned to randomly distribute
the stalls by drawing lots – we also want to use a different approach
than the usual, where the stalls are regionally grouped. Yet, of course we
respect the wish of some countries to have their stalls next to each other.
LET’S WEAR OUR NATIONAL DRESSES FOR THE OPENING!
The Share Fair will be opened on Saturday (14 May) after lunch. Between 2 pm
and 3:30 pm is the official walk-through. We would like to make it a colourful
event and encourage you to wear your national dress. After the opening speech
we will all together unwrap the stalls.
SHARE FAIR AWARD
You will receive a ballot to vote for the most creative, the most inspiring
and the most exotic stalls. Drop your ballot latest by 5 pm on Wednesday
(18 May) into the ballot box at the PDOG/SO stall. The winning teams will
be announced during the award ceremony at the Farewell Party on Thursday
evening. Make sure you don’t miss it!
DISMANTLING YOUR STALL
You can start dismantling your stall on Thursday evening; those who depart
earlier can do it even before. Make sure that you remove your material
before 4 pm on Friday (20 May). Please take your Share Fair display material back
with you, as we cannot store the material left behind or send it via pouch
or otherwise.
