We had a GLOWing time!

Some of you will be leaving for GLOW sometime this weekend, and the rest will follow next week. So here is important travel instructions for you, to help you reach the Hotel Seminaris in Bad Honnef (Bonn) where the workshop will take place. Please read the following information carefully and keep a copy with you during your travel for easy reference.

Your Logistics Team has arranged a shuttle bus service to pick you up from the Cologne/Bonn Airport and the Bonn and Siegburg train stations upon your arrival. If you are arriving at the Frankfurt airport, you should take a train to Bonn Main or Siegburg train station to avail of the shuttle bus service.

GLOW Meeting Point at Cologne/Bonn AIrport:
TERMINAL 2 ARRIVAL AREA (close to airport's meeting point)

For colleagues arriving at Terminal 1: From EXIT B of Terminal 1, follow directions to Terminal 2. When you exit from Terminal 1 at Exit C, youl can see Terminal 2 approximately 80 meters in front of you. You'll pass several car hiring counters (eg HERTZ, etc....); from there, pass the glass bridge or corridor and then you are in Terminal 2. You can use the stairs, which you'll see immediately in front of you or the escalators (in the middle of the building) to desend to the arrival level. There, you will find the GLOW-UNV-MEETING-POINT, located next to the airport's meeting point. A volunteer from HQs (with the GLOW logo) will be there to welcome you and show you the way to the shuttle bus.

For colleagues arriving at Terminal 2: When you pass the customs, turn right and look for the GLOW-UNV-MEETING-POINT which is near the airport's general meeting point. A volunteer from HQs (with the GLOW logo) will be there to welcome you and show you the way to the shuttle bus.

GLOW Meeting Point at Bonn Main train station:
For colleagues arriving at Bonn Hauptbahnof (Bonn main train station) from Frankfurt or Duesseldorf airports, please go to the information service. A volunteer from HQs (with the GLOW logo) will be there to welcome you and show you the way to the shuttle bus.

GLOW Meeting Point at Siegburg train station:
If you’re arriving at Siegburg from Frankfurt airport, a volunteer from HQs (with the GLOW logo ) will be there to welcome you as you disembark from the train and show you the way to the shuttle bus.

1. We recommend you purchase a round trip train ticket.
2. If possible, once you have purchased your train ticket please call one of the emergency numbers above and tell us when you will arrive at the Bonn or Siegburg train station.

4. You should bring euros with you to facilitate the purchase of train tickets or anything else you may wish to buy while your are here.
